President's Message
Dear Colleague,
As a WSASP member you are joining with hundreds of dedicated school psychologists across our state to make a difference in the lives of children and families living in Washington. Our mission, working together, is to build capacity for success in school and in life. There is strength in our numbers to widen and deepen our dreams and hopes for the children of Washington.
Through your membership in WSASP you have access to cutting edge, cost-effective professional development opportunities throughout the coming year.
You will receive timely updates about pending legislation affecting educational opportunities for children and our roles and responsibilities as school psychologists as well as newly posted job opportunities in school psychology across the state.
You will have opportunities to network with colleagues working in your region and to share skils and strategies with them.
Visit the WSASP website to learn more about what WSASP can do for you!
Read the SCOPE and get up-to-date information on issues affecting all that we do locally and nationally.
Share your successes with all of us so that we can learn from you.
There has never been a more exciting and rewarding time for you to be a partner with the WSASP team!
Best wishes,
Sharon Missiaen, Ph.D.
WSASP President
